I have to say, when I’m in London I like the Muslims because they don’t drink and give me more room in the pub!

That’s a good example of other cultures knowing their place when they choose to come and live in Britain.
I have no problems with people who believe that alcohol is wrong staying out of British pubs.

I’m beginning to have a problem with people who believe that alcohol is wrong complaining that they are OFFENDED by other (indigenous) people drinking in British pubs.

Now, I’m not stupid. I know damn well that it is wishy-washy, lefty, liberal, vote-hunting, idiots who are doing the complaining – rather than the actual people who might have a legitimate reason to complain. It’s pretty obvious.

And, no, I have NEVER visited a BNP site or read any of their literature.

Just in case you had failed to notice, the people who are “offended” by drinking are also “indigenous” to this country- and they have as much right to complain about drinking as I do about the hypocrisy of catholics n birth control and the subjugation of women through a deliberate policy of enforced motherhood.

We can all complain and have every right too- my missus is offended by sex on TV (it makes her back ache n she keeps fallin off)

In all my life I have never met so many stupid people, trying to kid everyone, the Israelis are the good guys, they are the most vicious evil minded scum on the face of this earth and those that support are as bad.

The best thing that could happen, is give Iran the bomb, and that will solve the problem, and rid this world of the foul stench of Zionism, and the cockroaches that support it.

Sorry- was this speech taken directly from Mein Kampf or just summarised?

I guess so far I’m in the minority here. I don’t believe in the Death Penalty as I am a Catholic and believe the “Thou Shalt Not Kill” rule. They only way I could are if my family or I was being attacked. Sooner or later everyone will die and that is when the judgment will be handed down. For all those who honestly deserve the Death Penalty, it’s going to be worse than any torture we could ever pass. I do believe that they should be locked up for life and any luxury they could hope for would be taken away. I know some of the prisons are way too nice for these people to spend their end of days in.

Catholicism has been responsible for millions of deaths over the centuries- being a catholic has nothing to do with opposing the death penalty- being a human being may have?

Surely the greatest point against the death penalty must be the Birmingham 6?

Just slightly aside from the topic – but this Birmingham 6 thingy has always puzzled me.

OK they were originally convicted of killing all those people in Brum, imprisoned, and many years later their convictions were overturned on appeal, and they were released.

The bit that puzzles me is this. Why, given that they were totally innocent of any sort of involvement at all, did the Police arrest them in the first place???

I mean, there they were presumably living in or around the Birmingham area, going about their lawful business as most everybody else does, when along comes Mr Plod and arrests them for, apparently, no reason at all. Not only that but then they are tried at great public expense and so on. What on earth made the Police just pick on 6 guys at random???

Can anybody shed any light on this at all???

    Is that a serious question?

They were Irish, Catholic and in Birmingham at the time- that was all the police needed!

Have no idea how old you are PB but I can (just) remember the early 70’s when bombs were going off like firecrackers and the police were under a huge amount of poressure to find and convict those responsible. The fact they found people who they knew weren’t responsible but would “fit the crime” was irrelevant for the 20 years they were falsely imprisoned.

Trust me, no Black American will say that they are glad the slave trade happened. Also whatever internal forms of slavery that existed within Africa they were not as bad as the transatlantic trade that killed around 20 million people.

When you consider that the USA holds the global purse strings, it imposes policies on poor countries and gets involved in the political affairs of those countries then yes the USA does have a lot to answer for. It’s not the only country but is the most significant of those countries.

We saw all that fancy talk last year about making poverty history but, as many expected, the politicians didn’t honour their pledges. People should keep giving money to charity because money given to NGOs will definitely go where it’s supposed to go and every little helps.

    Have to disagree Mr B

The internal African slave market was greater, caused wider dispersion and affected more Africans than the external market ever did. What the external market did was globalise this appalling trade in human misery. Was it the African countries who cried out for slavery to end? No, it was li’l ole us who eventually found slavery abhorrent. Once the external slavery market was stopped, did slavery die? No, it carried on with it’s own internal African market.

It is history which creates the opportunities or threats for the future- Germany today should never be made apologists for the Nazi regime and Britain today should not be made apologists for a slave trade which we helped stop over 150 years ago.

I dont like people speaking in another language purely as it unsettles me not knowing what is being said when the people are looking at you. This being any language non specific. But the thing is my husband had quite a few indian friends and i was 19 when i met him so i thought it was cool to learn rude words in indian  so when i now listen to indians talking i can sometimes make out roughly what they are saying only IF a rude word pops up.

To think the English cant even “advertise” England without a liecence, and are told that waving our flag is wrong, but you can talk about someone in a foreign language, and its called multiculturalism.

To those who say this, dadymanigan, or however you say it.

So who is stopping you from waving your Cross of St George Emma- are you saying you have been banned from waving a flag outside your house or car?

I have 4 flags- on my car, large pole in the garden (he’s a good man and cheap too) and on my garage door- NO ONE has told me I can’t fly it or to take them down and no one will because it isnt illegal

I can smell that smell again n it sure as feck ain’t pig

    I wholeheartedly agree Lamby

If there is “explosive” new leads etc- the papers have an obligation to provide that information to the inquiry however that would not guarrantee them regular huge sales every time Diana is mentioned on the front page.
