Hiya Blonde! lovely to see you x. I will be back in Krakow 3rd June for a few days visiting some pals. A few little gems for you to see while you are in Krakow. In the Kazimierz district which is about 5-10 mins from where your hotel is- ask for the jewish bath house known as Mikveh ( 6 Szeroka street) The building in now a hotel and has a cafe thats open to the public ( looks like times stood still from when it was used as a bath house ) Every day around 12ish an old man of 98 sits at his reserved table his name is Leopold Kozlowski musical composer he’s known as the last klezmer he is a cultural figure in Poland, where he is known as “the last klezmer.” Leopold is also an Auschwitz survivor. Say hello to him if you manage to get there. In this small square are lots of other building to visit, a few doors from the bath house stands the home of Helena Rubinstein A cosmetics entrepreneur and one of the worlds richest woman-clever too she sold her company in 1928 for over 7.3 million$ Helena then during the great depression she bought back the worthless stock of less than $1 million! smart woman er ?
