What people need to understand, if you don’t already, if you check the EU bots post history he is not actually saying anything new at all and all these points have been covered previously. The EU bot is not programmed to evolve beyond it’s remit.

Stop wasting you time responding to the bot because it will never contribute anything useful or evolve debates such as this, the bot is designed to stifle and suppress all debate, whether it be this topic or any other.

But, Gerry, where has this happened??

I’ve not even answered the guy yet! I’m just pointing to statistics thatI’d not seen before and had to check.

But that doesn’t matter to you, does it, Gerry? You try different approaches – smashface politics, a facetious superiority, warning people not to read what I say. But the approaches always amount to the same thing – let’s keep this site brexit and not let anyone read or think about the opposing sides.

Let them come to their own opinion, Gerry, won’t you? They’re deep brexiteers, most of them, no need to worry about the little children, really.

If people want to listen to a brexi-bigot like you, then that’s fine with me. I’ve been asked – over and over – to answer rudeboy’s post, and that’s what I’m proceeding to do, though he appeared to be having cold feet about the answer at one point.

Let’s see if he has cold feet at the end.

What are we doing paying all that money into the EU budget – think of it, £8.5bn a year – That’s £23 million a day. A day. My God!! Think of what could be done with that money for our social problems.

What have we been doing? How could we be such fools as to join such a group???

Like I said, misleading. Extremely misleading!!

    The figures above confirm prejudice.

But the real McCoy is very very dangerous – to you and I and everybody but Boris Johnson and the billionaire Arron Banks who has payrolled the Leave EU campaign and is now under criminal investigation.

Next part of the answer follows soon.

You haven’t answered anything, you have just confirmed the figures are correct in that we pay an extortionate amount of money into a failed organisation pushing up demand on housing/ public services keeping wages low so people are accessing food banks and charities to survive. You lost your own argument, the referendum and are now effectively talking to yourself as a malfunctioning bot with people laughing at you.

I’d call that case closed wouldn’t you in your education?

Geoff, is just repeating himself over and over again and has done for the past two years +. There is no particular nuance or sophistication in anything he types on these boards on this particular topic, he is just an aggressive old man who disguises his constant insults to other chatters behind a barrage of hollow rhetoric. It just goes round and round in circles. Geoff is incapable of analyzing this topic objectively because he lacks knowledge and is incapable of ‘critical thinking’. Geoff is just an EU bot.

Just like our friend Alfie there is no logical reason to get involved in a debate with Geoff. Geoff pretends he can’t remember what he typed five minutes ago never mind one year ago. Geoff will make BIG grand statements that might appear to some people to be ‘sophisticated and knowledgeable’ but don’t actually mean anything when you scratch beneath the surface and then Geoff totally ignores requests to explain himself in further detail and just like Alfie will shift the goalposts to avoid doing so. Geoff makes every single topic all about Geoff, Geoff has been hurt in some way, Geoff has been abused in some some and Geoff always uses that as his justification, for his behaviour, on these boards.

Why are we not surprised that the EU have bullied us into a no win position ? After all they have form for it ?

Any country that has voted no has been forced to have a 2nd referendum, despite The EU proclaiming Democracy would be paramount and results would stand , they promise all kinds of opt-outs and basically sell a lie , get the result they want in the 2nd referendum then conveniently  renege on any promises or force through new legislation or a new treaty which makes all other deals , promises or treaty’s null and void.

When France voted NO to the ”Treaty establishing a Constitution for Europe” with 55% followed by the Netherlands with a resounding 61% NO majority , referendums were swiftly cancelled in Poland, Portugal, Ireland, The UK and Denmark . The EU promised AGAIN to respect the results… However then The Lisbon Treaty replaced the Constitution for Europe Treaty, practically Identical in every way , this was pushed through French and Dutch parliaments WITHOUT  a referendum !!  Sneaky eh, so much for respecting the democratic results !! And people don’t think they are Bullies ? pfffft  yea right …..

You’re a lucky gal, Drac. She sounds interesting. Why does she love Moggy though? He makes me giggle, and I respect his sense of principle, but I don’t love him.

You would have to ask her for specifics, but I would guess that its because he isn’t ashamed of who he is, and doesn’t pretend to be someone else because of it, and because of his accent.

Jamie, I know you like learning stuff and reading up on things, if your like me, not an expert on the EU,( well I don’t think anyone here is, they just think they are) I’d recommend a book by Roger Bootle, ” MAKING A SUCCESS OF BREXIT AND REFORMING THE EU”. Roger Bootle has written several books on this subject with excellent reviews, he’s an economist who predicted the housing crisis in the USA which led to the credit crunch, apparently he predicted back in the 90’s that the pound would be forced out of the European Exchange rate mechanism and this would be beneficial to the economy, all came true. Anyway, it’s not a hard read, it speaks our language, no baffling gobbledegook or lecturing and very insightful. I think you’d like it. :good:
