Vaccines were first invented in the 19th century, where it was discovered that you could artificially create immunity to a virus by training the body to produce antibodies to that virus by injecting them with a dead or weakened sample of the virus. This prevents the vaccininated person from being able to catch the virus, as their body destroys it faster than it can reproduce. This also has the side effect that a vaccinated person cannot transmit the virus, because they cannot be infected by it.

Dra… in simple terms yes.
Its not a drug and stays in the body for a prolong period offering protection from a specific virus. You cant say any of the current covid 19 vaccine’s are “true” vaccines. There not alive or based on the original virus like the yearly flu jab.
My understanding of how this vaccine works is that its a coating preventing the virus from infecting blood cells.
Introducing a foreign element into the body fairly common approach. For years people received pins to repair bones, new man made hips and stents in hearts. We’re all used to having filling at the dentist too.
Since “true” vaccines take years to develop and there a pandemic running wild right now… trying to name our current treatments as something else would confuse the public. And to be honest I cant think of another word to describe this process.

This product contains genetically modified organisms (GMOs).

I certainly would not want to be cause of death for family, Friends, Co-workers, older folks. I been surrounded by covid as like many and still have worked through the entirety of the pandemic. I have stayed masked..distanced and some what worried I get disease. Luckily so far have not. That what we call yes or agree..smart and safe and following guidelines.
As I am moving on in years, life is short. Like many..before I go down I want finally happiness and joy in my life which lacked for more years then you know. I have found that now. So true I could die today or tomorrow..next week or month in car accident..flight.disease or a inherited disease possibly. Not sure. So yep “Fear” for over a year from a disease made in a lab. Escaped and killed many all over the world. Too many. All of us taking the jab could have severe side effects or deaths from a drug that could interact with in our own bodies. Many felt taking vaccine your life be saved or less of impact if got covid.
So yep I resented taking vaccines as my life, fears and possibilty put the scare of jesus in me. As I am organized this information and CDC crap was often misguided or not actual or scientifically based. I had my legal affairs in order for years. 2 weeks prior to jab..i cried from fear.. scared how effect would take hold in me..not sleep and rearranged all my paperwork so my brother who has copies anyways knew my wishes and desires. Fear of unknown yup I resented it and the scientist who released it.
Yes true so for that reason..chance.happiness finally..and for him..love of my life..I did it. Dont think still not worried.
And yes fishy i had surgeries for 3 years resulting in an accident. Sadly i have those screws. Bolts. Nuts, steel and not happy about it. I had more infections than i ever had in my life time. Was on antibiotics so often as my body took long time not to reject surgery. I suffered in pain and wanted to crawl under rock and die. I am pig headed and strong and to this day still fight the impact surgery had on me. No choices had to be done.
Fishy every time I go thru security in airport I am tagged and pulled over to have extra screening and female search. In my body shows up in xray machine at airports. I deal with that an still to this day uncomfortable. Now i have to walk around with a card. I had vaccines. Jesus!
It’s funny you should say bone pins, I was watching a vid on this today.
For the rest of it….you got treatment right away and that support carried on for years. By the sound it afterwards you made a full recovery & enjoyed a full life including overseas travel.
As for the panic you felt before taking the vaccine. Given the amount of medical treatment you received in the past……… anxiety with any new medical procedure is normal.
When I look thru my wallet I find all kinds of cards I’m forced to carry daily. (Driving licence, work id and more.) Why moan about adding to it? Isn’t like you can go anywhere without the rest.
