    Ge

This is what drives me potty about Sceptical. He will defend the EU protectionist racket, the EU Ponzi scheme, with his dying breathe but then condemns Trump for wanting the same for America.

    *angry face*

LOL@politics……ill be honest…..always obey your human rulers….they need your vote….they don’t normally need your money as they have enough of their own…..more than enough in fact…..but i digress to an extent……

Ever seen a poor home less tramp become Prime Minister or President? In my opinion….you have to buy your way into politics unless you were born into it….seems to me a lot of film stars get into politics in America……Arnold, Ronald, Donald….LMAO…well he had a farm didn’t he?…sorry that was Old Ma’c Donald….

He had plenty of animals on that farm….LOL

    This doesn’t make sense.

Does Trump want a Ponzi scheme for America, a protectionist racket??

Do enlighten me. Try to let your rational mind take over from your angry face.

How is the EU a racket? It’s by no means perfect, and demands radical reform, but it bears no resemblance to the caricature I’ve been reading in jc and from Arron Banks.

Well, mister q, a lot of people find all the discussion gets quite confusing.

Most just give it up as a bad job, and when all the abuse starts to pour, they are convinced it just willy-wagging.

But that’s not how I approach it.

Some people read the discussions carefully – Linda says she does.

And really if people read things more carefully – and public affairs are about us, the public – perhaps they wouldn’t make choices which they’ll come to regret, and regret badly.

Like being persuaded by a clever salesman to buy a house they couldn’t really afford. They leave their old house, move their kids in, find things get too much and then they and their family are n agony over homelessness.

The same thinking is needed over the issues we discuss here.

If it turns into willy-wagging on all sides, then you’d be right to turn off.

It makes perfect sense to all but you, you sit on here angrily pontificating and defending the protectionist EU cartel that heavily subsidizes agriculture and which spends 40% of its entire budget (other peoples money) doing so and then pepper the boards with your latest “bogieman” conspiracy. America is just as entitled to protect her economic interests as the EU mafia is.

However you like it, with your limited knowledge.

    Which ALWAYS starts from you.

    You bore.

    I’m not a politician….

    I know what a war is…

    I know what a trade war is….

    I know what a supermarket is….

I’m not taking sides, however I do find it very annoying that once again when people don’t necessarily agree with a persons views that person then presumes that because they disagree with them, they must somehow not understand…. must be stupid…. must need things explained and given childlike examples…..

” He / She doesn’t agree with me …hmmmmm  they must not understand…. I’ll dumb it all down for them and give examples a 7 year old would understand then they will see how I am correct !!!  …..  ”

    Its so bloody patronising …..

    Over and out :bye:

America is just as entitled to protect her economic interests as the EU mafia is.

If Trump’s trade war with Britain does start, and if it gets out of control, then let Gerry explain this to the people who shop in a supermarket and the people who lose their jobs.

In the meantime, because I really don’t understand, could you tell me, Gerry,  in what way Trump is trying to develop a protectionist racket, and a Ponzi scheme??

Second time asking, though I don’t think I’ll get anything but abuse because he doesn’t know the answer. The Daily Mail/Arron Banks trick, when faced with opposition. Start kicking up a major cloud of dust.

Sorry if you thought it patronising, Ms M,

but if QE is unable to understand what a trade war is, and thinks it the same as trade competition, then it has to be explained.

I was shocked that I had to explain it, because you’ve no need to have an Economic Phd to understand the difference between trade and a trade war.

What Gerry calls Trump protecting America, everybody else calls a trade war.

And while Trump thinks a trade war is good because America always wins,

it’s been explained to him by all of his trade people until he sacked them that nobody wins a trade war. Everybody loses. It may be patronising to say this to Trump, but he is following his own wayward path.

I think it’s two weeks before the trade war opens. Let’s hope he changes his mind (not unknown), and let’s hope that if it does start it doesn’t get out of control.
