I like the brooding tone of resigned anger.
I wish you’d write more poems.

oops.
am I in trouble
??
I mentioned Clare Wales in a positive light,
and I know that nothing escapes those eyes,
and I tried to cover my backside by inferring that I know you don’t klike Clare
and …and…and…
starts to cry
runs out of room but fast

Linda,
I wouldn’t bother.
As with Q, it’s bashing your head on the wall.

It’s not music,

ok, thin.
I shut me gob on this issue. I surrender to greater knowledge.
I was always puzzled by the continual digs about traffic cones, and now they’re explained.
It just seemed to me that JC without Cosy is like Oliver Twist without Fagin.

I’m not in favour of banning anybody permanently.
There are people as bad, or worse, in jc, and on the boards.
I always liked those Westerns where they locked the local pisshead up in the slammer for a day to cool his heels off for some reason, I don’t remember female pissheads in those films – were they no female boozeheads in the Old…[Read more]

Clare (Wales) was so worried she phoned you up to check that you were ok and that Cosy was on his way to kill you, but you reassured her that you weren’t worried in the slightest and that Cosy was just a windbag (that’s what she told me, anyhow. Clare was a really nice person behind her love of a fight – apologies to Tracy,…[Read more]

I hope not.
Cloning and multiple accounts are easier than using someone else account to post stuff because the original account-holder has to give permission in some way.
If it’s not her, then someone should alert her pdq because her name is being falsely discredited.

Nobody doubts John’s intelligence
but
so you are both more clever even than a totally arrogant smartarse like me????
oh, I shouldn’t have said that. I’m a total klutz at computers, and I’ve been told by several that I’m barking up the wrong tree and have no idea what’s going on here.
ok. I accept this.

Talking of classics.
Jimmy Webb wrote this work-song back in 1968. He told an interviewer, “Some time earlier, I’d been driving around northern Oklahoma, an area that’s real flat and remote, almost surreal in its boundless horizons and infinite distances. I’d seen a lineman on top of a telephone pole, talking on the phone. It was such a…[Read more]

But..
I will if the money is there…

I dare any of you to make fun of this skirt-wearer

Homophobic comments never welcome.
The Muslims and Brexit MEPs like the original swivel-eyed loon, Ann Widdecombe, should get used to it.

Look, Q, I’ve learned to shrug off the peculiar combination of continual wordplay and unusually limited intelligence (the two don’t normally go together)
but
the continual poor spelling!
It’s not “you and sceppers are 2 of the biggest hippocrites”,
but
“you and sceppers are 2 of the biggest hypocrites”.

Linda, there’s a difference between the real people here, and their online persona.
For real, Cosy may well be everything you say he is.
But online he’s a rogue trader x

Yes, milky, I agree with you that Labour has failed to connect over Brexit. They’ve lost or are losing their supporters to either the brexit party or to the LibDems/Greens.
The secretive and manipulative attitude of Corbyn’s office is leading to real dissatisfaction among many of his most loyal supporters. Campbell could well have spoken out to…[Read more]

Yes, I’ve been following that.
Not sure how the Labour party is out of touch, though.
I don’t always have time for Jess Phillips, but she seems right there. Christian and Islamic moral rules should remain within the Christian and Islamic communities (provided they don#’t conflict with British laws).

I don’t agree, Linda.
I don’t think they’re characterised by hatred at all.
Self-destruct mechanism – I’m sorry to say that’s what it looks like.
But I’ll say what characterises her poetry another time soon. It’s a different set of emotions than hatred and malice though.
And even if it were hatred. Good poems can be based on hatred – think…[Read more]
