Hmmm well had you said that 18 months ago you may have a touch of credibility, although I realise said chatter is ‘very concerned ‘ about people using multiple accounts as far as I am aware her infatuation with Alfie died a long time ago…. So ‘Alfie’ has no axe to bear, unless, of course Alfie isn’t getting much attention lately and therefore feels the need to re-ignite old grievances by making them seem relevant….. who knows eh ?

I am not fanatical about Brexit what so ever, I made my choice, I hope and believe I made the correct choice there’s not a lot more I can do about it.

Mental Health care, social care, The Health Service etc has been underfunded for years, cuts to social care particularly mental healthcare are worse than ever and now everyone is concerned about it ?? Because they want to blame Brexit for it ? lol There is no way of measuring what would have been better or worse had we chose to stay. I certainly didn’t see any promises of more funding if we voted remain ?I have never said I supported Aaron Banks.

I have no wish to silence you on Brexit at all. You made a thread specifically on Brexit, yet you infiltrate your passion about it on every other current thread as well, as you have on this one.
I would appreciate it if you didn’t lump me in with others who also happen to disagree with you. Thankyou.-

That term reminds me of when I was a child. A cop in the town walked into a house to arrest a guy reported for child abuse. When he looked at the big pot of boiling water on the stove, he saw the heads of four small children staring up at him from their eyeless sockets, their skin half disintegrating. The cop was traumatised, unable to speak or do anything thereafter. it was the talk of the town, and scared all of us kids shitless, as we could easily imagine ourselves in that pot. A family member connected with that little horror show later moved next door.

Don’t be ridiculous ! The term go boil your head is not terribly nasty at all !! in fact its quite light hearted compared to some insults that get bandied about

Am I meant to feel guilty ? I had a very bad dream as a child of a monster who crushed up childrens bodies with his bare hands and when they were dust like he’d stick the dust in his pipe and smoke it !!! You saying that has traumatised me and a pipe smoker moved next door !!!!
So its ok for you to get personal when making remarks about me and my lifestyle, job, family situation etc ( and you have at certain times ) but if I give an opinion on you, you get all snitty about it ? lol

Careful Scep, reading that post infers I have accused you of those things. I have never accused Linda of being a man. I have never accused you of being a racist, a Muslim ( though I’m not really sure how that’s an accusation). I have never accused you of being an Islamaphobe, or a Liberal snowflake or a right wing member of the chattering classes. I have accused you of coming across as patronising, condescending and lecturing people.
I stand by those accusations as in my opinion that is how you come across. So we are not all dead wrong….. and believe it or not, you are not always dead right.
I think everyone who regularly post, apart from the obvious, has a certain amount of intelligence, maybe some more in certain fields, I do not claim to be an expert in Politics, although I far outweigh others in different fields, this does not make me more or less intelligent than anyone else, I don’t expect someone to be as qualified as myself in certain fields, however that doesn’t mean I think they are less intelligent, which is were I feel Scep does himself a disservice. He is obviously well read, and has an eclectic taste in reading matter and films, I think he name drops these authors etc to ‘show off’ in a way….. ( bet you’ve never even heard of them kind of way) I admit I haven’t in many cases, he also ‘rubbishes’ any popular mainstream books and films, as if they are for the great unwashed, not intelligent, well read people like himself . Its an attitude which comes across. It is deliberately done in my opinion. However, that doesn’t make him intelligent. It makes him clever. There is a difference. A street cleaner may well be intelligent, its not all about watching arty films and reading physics books. Alfie may not be intelligent but may well be clever…..
very weak link to bring yet another Brexit debate on to a thread about films… Scep in all seriousness you appear obsessed …. it’s like its ‘all consuming’, surely you have other stuff going on ? oh and its not good to indirectly insult your opponents in debate, with cheap shots…. and I’m far from fool hardy too. Just saying….
Oh and before you try and say yu were merely bringing a touch of light heartedness to it all, playing the villain in a tongue in cheek way, I don’t think it’s fooled anyone…. that’s just my opinion
