There has been so much raceisum,not just here,this is onley the tip of the iceberg.I often see it and in the room,where they will often sit and pretend they havent seen it,depending of corse whos doing itAltho i have seen it,and often sed about it,”Couldn’t agree more Jamie. The word hypocrite ( at no one in particular) springs to mind. I have witnessed witch hunts and gang mentality in the room many many times, often aimed at you Jamie. Don’t get me wrong, I have seen you at your best and your worst, and I mean bad, but at least you have owned your behaviour, apologised for it were warranted, and tried to be a better person. You’ve done so well, yes, I know you have fallen off the wagon now and then, I’ve also witnessed the people gloating about the fact you’ve relapsed, loving it . What does that say about them ? well all I can say is at least you try and continue trying to be a better person for yourself and your family. For anyone who is addicted to any substance to go months without, is a massive achievement !! a day or two relapsed is sad but not the end of the world, you pick yourself up and stick at it, as you have !! The Holier than thou ones and the ones praying for you to mess up are the ones who should look at themselves, enjoying someone’s cock ups and using it as an excuse to ‘re-bully’ them is shameful. What if their son or daughter became an addict ? It can and does happen to anyone from any walk of life for many reasons, there is no class divide on addictions, just how much people can afford to spend on it and its treatment.
You keep at it, I admire you and how well you’ve done, you’re a brill mum and grandma, ( you haters I’ve seen recent pics of Jamie’s family so I do know what I’m talking about thanks ) Keep at it xxx

I sort of get your point DD, however the rooms have been like that for years, abusive, point scoring, humiliation etc.,which is why I rarely go in now. At least on the boards people have a name, In Alfies case several, but its not just numbers abusing anonymously. Yes I’m sure you’ll say that you can still have a laugh and a chat in the room, well you can on the boards too, there is a way to ignore a poster, I did it with Q week or more ago and it works well . There is still the opportunity to chat discuss things, you just learn when not to. I agree they have turned nasty lately, but that is due to 3 or 4 chatters. Why dissolve the boards and stop all the normal decent people who like to post doing so ? Why not dissolve just chat entirely ? Those who chat in the room are no better than those who chat on the boards, not forgetting there is also a pm facility on the boards so chatters can interact in private, just like the room. I’m a bit confused as to why someone who rarely bothers with the boards would want them shut down. When the boards are mentioned in the chatroom everyone groans ” oh I don’t bother, load of rubbish, waste of time” yet they know exactly what’s being said on them. Close the boards ? close the chatroom too. In fact there’s often more going on, on the boards than the room. The room is dead. Shame on all fronts. Just my opinion, no offence intended. xx

I thought she was very clear in her statement today, making it clear to the EU and some in her own party, there will be NO new vote. She also was firm about them having to compromise as well. I don’t like the woman, but glad she was firm and stood her ground as the EU gave no explanation as to why they dismissed her proposals, it may be obvious why, but an explanation was called for, typical ignorant behaviour.
