I’ve always hated cheesy pop music, thought the 1st film was atrocious ( the 15 minutes I saw, couldn’t bear any more ) and I’d rather eat my own foot than go and see the 2nd movie, just an exercise in making money from the same old garbage

To be honest……no one should really judge people on these boards…..if you don’t like them…ignore them. I’ll stand up for what i believe and what i believe is that hugs has a right to be here like any one else..
Personally….personal disputes and bitching don’t belong here…ok we all do it at times.
I’ve worked in many places doing many different things and i’m not saying that being a loner is always the right way to be but my point is that i’ve noticed all through the years that people seem to look for the safety of numbers or the crowd.
While this may out number the individual or entity being attacked,it does not necessarily prove any truth of any matter being discussed.
It’s a military tactic….(i will win because i have more numbers, friends,influence than you)…problem i find is that it may win many battles but then lose the war….
Some live for the battles and some live for the war….personally….if you can avoid both scenarios with out going to battle or war then you’r doing great.
I see your point Mr Q and I agree with some things you say, however, in this particular case I don’t think the issue is as cut and dry as ‘safety in numbers’. I have never said Hugs shouldn’t be allowed to post on the boards. I have never said anyone shouldn’t be allowed to post on the boards. I think you’ll find the ‘numbers’ are so simply because of the number of people Hugs attacks and calls Troll for no reason other than having a differing opinion than his own.
Just because one man ‘appears’ to stand alone against more than one, doesn’t automatically mean the lone man is right and / or being attacked by many. In this scenario the lone man is attacking people, despite advice, rational discussion, most often with no good reason. Things are not always what they appear, it has nothing to do with safety in numbers and more to do with numbers of people simply defending themselves. The thread had in fact moved on and taken on a more light hearted tone until out of the blue the ‘individual’ attacked again. People will not and should not have to simply ignore it if they wish to speak out against such a spiteful and nasty attack. It may be what you prefer to do, but that’s a choice, it doesn’t make either right or wrong.

lolol JN I strongly suspect anyone with a pulse is on Hugs ‘Troll List’ or anyone who coughs, farts or sneezes and certainly anyone who has the audacity to ‘disagree’ with an opinion he holds…. that’s major Troll Alert and also another Martin E mail for sure.
I actually do feel for Hugs sometimes, not literally, he is a bit of an enigma. Hugs claims to want to free the chatrooms and boards of ‘Trolls’ , which is an admirable thing, I just feel he is over zealous ( on the boards anyway … no longer go into chatroom). He doesn’t seem to grasp the difference between healthy debate, or just plainly disagreeing with someone’ s opinion, maybe the odd insult hurled in temper… and…… Trolling !!! deliberately targeting someone for no apparent reason other than getting a kick out of hurting someone else. That’s my take on trolling in a laymen’s terms anyway. Anyone who voices an opinion which doesn’t coincide with his ,is to him a Troll. There’s another word which sort of comes to mind about people with this mentality …. I think the word is Bigot…. I could be wrong .

Linda has earnt respect in the rooms and boards unlike our resident troll.

Well I’ve saved that totally unwarranted attack on Linda by Hugs, just in case he decides to have it removed again lol. What a nasty, spiteful, little man he is Milky, I can only presume he’s jealous as far more people like Linda than him, in fact, I’m not sure anyone likes him ! Maybe he should ask himself why ??
