I’m sure you site is quite lovely, however a small flaw in your plan here, if JC has access to all our private info etc, your site is using the same software…. well hardly encouraging others to join now is it

Don’t be silly… unless of course Martin has given you his admin passwords… So you can track every person that uses a site using the same software lol…..
A friend who is pretty tech smart was explaining this the other month. Obviously people use VPN’s for various reasons, and VPN companies are not quick to give up information on their users because they would get a reputation for not protecting peoples privacy, ( the whole point of using one ) however… when it comes to dodgy activity such as paedophilia and revenge porn they will readily hand over the info requested, partly out of a moral duty but also they realise the Law can very easily get a warrant anyway, so its easier to co-operate.

I agree, The Term Gender Dysphoria though is classed as a physical condition , in medical terms. It isn’t classed as a ‘mental illness’ but a physical one, however the mental impact it has upon a sufferer is acknowledged and also treated, and yes obviously it can cause mental illness, probably does to some extent in most sufferers. There are various ways of treating the symptoms, both psychologically and physically, but yes the two go hand in hand. My point was it is an illness as you said, people are not ‘sick’ because they think they are in the wrong body, they are sick because they have an illness.

Gender dysphoria is a recognised medical condition. It’s not a mental illness, although it can obviously affect someones mental health.
There are some recognised physical causes for the condition, normally hormonal. Hormones that trigger the development of biological sex may not work properly on the brain, reproductive organs and genitals, causing differences between them. The foetus may have an insensitivity to hormones in the womb, or it can be an imbalance of hormones during the development of the foetus , possibly caused by the mother taking medication or drugs. There are other more rare conditions which can cause this but I’m sure you get the picture. It is a real illness and not just about quacks playing god.
I have massive sympathy for people who believe they are in the wrong body, it must be constantly traumatic , however I think extensive therapy should be taken before any drastic measures, only recently a man went thru the horrendous and very painful surgery to be female and it turned out he was just gay. I do feel for people struggling but no amount of hormones or boob jobs can turn a man into a woman, good luck to them if they chose to follow that path but you still won’t be a real female and vice versa, far as toilets etc most countries in Europe have unisex toilets. What’s the problem ?

If you want me to leave, just arrange a poll. So far, the only one who want me to leave jc are you and gerry. You’ve wanted that the last time we clashed.
The time you spend trying to bully me out of jc is time you’ll never get back in your life.
Two people wanting me to leave jc are hardly enough. That’s just plain bullying. Arrange a poll, and if jc wants me to leave, I will definitely consider it.
Until then, others are wanting a discussion and I’m going to answer serious points only when they come from the two of you. Not many of those so far.
