Interesting point though Linda………How much of T.V and film adaptation is always changed, altered glossed up, sexed up or other like factors. Count of Monte Cristo written by Alexander Dumas who also wrote The Three Musketeers and The Man in the Iron Mask. Awesome trilogy of books.

Yorkshire Dales were featured on T.V last night Jane in the show where Larry Lamb and his son George go cycling.Absolutely beautiful scenery…..they went to a very famous Cliff face where i forget the name of but is fantastic to look at and cycled a stretch of the Tour de France route…..one of the hills being a gradient of 17%

Count of Monte Cristo is an all time great…got a version i recorded off the T.v starring Guy Pearce and The Guy from person of Interest. Watched it loads of times. Really is up-lifting. Ha Ha Linda! Vincent Price was the King of Horror…in such classics as The Fly…The pit and The Pendulum and Masque Of the Red Death and even Edward Scissor-hands.

Thing is about most series King is that after the first 2 seasons….when he show is up and running…the producers nearly always fire the script writers etc to save money so in most  cases, the shows concerned either go down-hill slowly or very fast.
