I have to say, that was my impression too.
Impressions can be wrong, and if Morg did manage to get the password to her account without hr consent – and I am not denying that – then we should be very worried indeed. Did he use charm, or blackmail, or is there some way of hacking into the board accounts unknown to mere 7-headed aliens such as…[Read more]

I’ve made my view of the troll well known when these posts appeared an earlier time.
My main point is to agree with Rose that

Absolutely agree with you, Rose, she must be left to tell us (or not tell us) in her own time. whether the first posts of the thread are part of the same laugh the two of them were having a few months ago, or whether she feels duped and humiliated etc,
or whether she couldn’t give a fig one way or the other.

Have to agree with Tracy here, unless someone corrects me on my understanding of the way JC works.
In the old JC you could pretend to be a reg in the chatrooms in order to embarrass them, but not in the new JC.
However, you’ve never been able to pretend to be someone else on the boards because you need a password.
If your account is hacked,…[Read more]

I’ve had Mexican food; it’s nice.
Never had Japanese food.
It’s standard American food I don’t like.
I also didn’t like grits. I think it’s in the US South where that is standard fare – I think.
American food isn’t bland – but it’s far too sweet. Not healthy to be that sweet.

I don’t really like American food.
Far too sweet, as well as far too much. I think they must cook the chicken in sugared fat, and the toast was yuck.
Mind you, compared with the tinned food I might have to put up with…hmmmm.
I do wish milky hadn’t gone into even the slightest amount of detail on that..not a nice image to associate with…[Read more]

That’s fine by me.
I’m using quotes as the pad on which to launch a general point. They’re aimed generally at anyone who reads the boards, not necessarily at people who write on the boards, and not usually at the person making the quote.

omg!
I asked Drac once who the scapegoats would be if brexit went to bollox. She quipped ‘remoaners’, and then we both realised she was right.
Well, we’re going to need scapegoats in the (hopefully unlikely) event of crashing out without a deal.
Not me. I’m innocent. I’ll look to paige for support, but she’ll be safe in a happier country. I…[Read more]

Oh.
What polls have you been looking at?
The polls I saw a couple of days ago gave support form no deal at 22-24%. Now the fact that so many people can be so short-sighted is worrying enough, but if you look at the polls over a longer period, that number has declined from 31% over the last 6 months
. Has opinion changed over the last…[Read more]

Read the following, and you will understand Brexit, and british politics, and Britain itself in 2019.
BREXIT EXPLAINED…….simples innit?
David Cameron made a promise he didn’t think he’d have to keep to have a referendum he didn’t think he would lose. Boris Johnson decided to back the side he didn’t believe in because he didn’t think it woul…[Read more]
