Some country’s age of consent is 13 yes, some country’s still allow FGM, both are disgusting in my mind. Plenty of 13 year olds are not even fully developed at that age. You don’t know that though. If my son brought a granny home I’d also be mortified I’ll admit that, however I don’t feel we can impose our personal opinions on people, I’d have to accept it if they said they wanted to be together, I certainly wouldn’t lose my Son over it, even if I was unhappy about it.

I think there are some very wavy lines in this area. If a 45 year old man and an 18 year old girl formed a relationship over time and ‘ fell in love’ became a couple, I have no issue with that.
