Not remoaners such as I. We’re large but a minority at the moment.

Abba is excellent pop music, Linda.
Scott Walker was an excellent pop singer for his own time.
Pop is a very important part of our memory process. It’s throw-away music, for the most part, but in your teens it’s very important because it’s a way of joining in with what everybody else of your generation is singing.,a well as asserting your…[Read more]

ps
pst, the government boost to the nhs, apart from not being enough, is not a brexit dividend.
https://www.channel4.com/news/factcheck/factcheck-the-nhs-funding-boost-is-not-a-brexit-dividend
Indeed, the nursing shortage which is part of the nhs crisis – 47,000 nurses short, expected to rise to 51,000 – is already being worsened by the fears…[Read more]

That washout of a March to Leave is still going strong – here they are in Yorkshire, but I’m not sure they’ll last the distance to Parliament. Farage never did. Never mind, I’m sure it’ll be big when it reaches London.
I’m sorry to inform thin that one pussycat was unable to join – apparently her bunions are playing up.

A no-deal is a very real possibility, it seems to me, at least at the moment.
But I’m glad you’re still contributing, and
how did it save us??

Whatever I say, he comes out with the same response –
why don#t you make a serious point for me to respond to??

Scott Walker, whose death was reported today, was an incredible musician of the first rank.
I first noticed him as a teenager when he was singing for The Walker Brothers. Very dreamy songs, like make it Easy on Yourself, and The Sun Ain’t Gonna Shine Any More. They were as much a part of that melancholy, dreamy music before the Summer of Love as…[Read more]

Fake news?? Who smelt it, dealt it. My criticisms of Trump are many, but I don#’t think I mentioned the Mueller Inquiry more than once or twice, but suddenly I’ve been spending years condemning Trump as a Russian agent? Yer, right.
I chased up Gerry’s comments, which struck me as really odd and just invented. I can’t find any references to RAMP…[Read more]

A recent poll on jc showed an overwhelming majority for the insane policy of leaving without a deal – the first time in history that a developed economy would vote to impose sanctions on itself .
They must all be in the top photo.

At the moment, a referendum seems unlikely, and many were marching against…[Read more]

Let’s hope that your diet is over soon, Reason.
Something tells me that a liberal democracy – a democracy with guarantees of human rights – will survive a soft Brexit or even, most sensibly, rejoining.
Thanks to the EU cracking stupid British heads together and forcing a decision, we’ll be able to tell soon.

well, if we do crash out we do have a large pot of money saved up to modify the impact of a catastrophe.
What a shame it wouldn’t go to the police, the NHS or education. They are in deep crisis already without this crap to deal with.
We live in a semi-literate and innumerate country which is thinking of committing a grave act of…[Read more]

Thanks for the advice, Paige.
I’m already married, though.
